Many musicians are not satisfied with their own instruments and dreaming of owning a Stradivari or Guarneri. Except for the lucky few who can afford to buy a multi-million-dollar instrument, this dream just remains a dream to most of them.
However, if a musician has a string instrument which is based on a top-quality wood frame and its condition is very good, there is a way to transform a dull-sounding, ordinary instrument to the one that sounds like a Stradivari.
Maestro Andrea Bang, who has successfully restored many deteriorated old masterpiece instruments (Groblicz and Stradivari), does an upgrade service for such musicians.

If an instrument satisfies the following conditions, it can be upgraded into a Stradivari-style instrument with unbelievable sound quality.

  1. The wood frame is of top-quality (such as one made in Italy or Germany)
  2. The wood frame is in well-dried condition
  3. There should be no physical damage or distorted part on the wood frame
