The String Instrument Museum built by Maestro Andrea Bang in Seoul displays instrument-making technologies originated from Cremona, the “Holy Land” of string instruments. What impresses visitors is not only the old masterpiece instruments displayed, but also Andrea Bang’s instruments that successfully restored Cremonese legacy. At the occasion of opening the museum, many congratulatory messages poured in. They include the ones from Italian Ambassador and renowned luthiers of Cremona. It clearly speaks of Maestro Andrea Bang’s important status in the world of contemporary luthiers.
